From Burnout to Breakthrough: A Relentless Week
It's been a hectic week for me, so I apologize for my lack of activity here on the platform. Although my activity is still considered decent because I've managed to post at least once a day and respond to every comment my posts receive, it's still not as good as it was a few months ago.
My recent lackluster activity has nothing to do with the recent price action of Hive because it doesn't really affect me. In fact, I was quite active last year when the price was much lower than it is right now.
Even if we reach a point where the price drops below $0.20 again, I'm perfectly fine with it. I suppose that's the kind of attitude I've developed after experiencing the days on Hive when both the price and overall platform engagement were at their lowest, and many were feeling fearful about the future of this chain. Getting through those days gave me the internal strength to withstand the FUD here on Hive and even within the broader crypto space.
If you're wondering what’s been keeping me busy in real life and causing my reduced presence on the platform, it’s because we recently handed over a project to the client. Last week was our final opportunity to fine-tune every aspect of the project and address all issues and defects we identified during the final inspection and testing we conducted throughout that period.
Like in any other industry, there comes a point where you face the most challenging part of the journey due to the expectations you place on yourself, the expectations from those involved in the project, and, most importantly, the client’s expectations, which we feel obligated to meet. That pressure made last week incredibly stressful for me.
The accumulation of stress, physical exhaustion, and lack of sleep over the past week has made me feel like I’m floating in the air. I didn’t even feel the moments as we kept hustling just to be able to turn over the project today. I felt physically tired, but my brain kept pushing me to stay motivated and keep going—to forget about the stress and believe that we would soon complete the project and finally enjoy a good rest this weekend.
I believe the endorphins helped me survive this week, but now that I’ve already depleted them, I can feel the physical exhaustion in every part of my body. It’s the kind of feeling that makes me crave water, painkillers, and energy drinks. Hahaha.
Overall, this week has been a whirlwind of stress, exhaustion, and relentless effort, but also a testament to resilience and determination. Despite everything, I'm proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I'm looking forward to finally getting some well-deserved rest. Until then, it's all about pushing through and keeping the motivation alive.
