Broadway's Bak Kut Teh

Last night, I found probably the most generous serving of Bak Kut Teh at Broadway Food Court in Rochor. While it may not have had the best soup, it offered the most pork ribs for the price I paid. At first, I thought there was some kind of mistake with my portion, but it turned out to be the same for other customers as well.

I know Bak Kut Teh isn’t a cheap dish, mainly because of the specific cuts of meat that come with it. The only catch is that these weren’t premium pork ribs—but they were definitely the meatiest part. They were short ribs, and when cooked well, they can be just as good as the premium cuts.

I was supposed to get the pig’s organ soup, but when I saw the serving size of the Bak Kut Teh, I changed my mind and ordered it instead. I didn’t regret the decision, as it had been a while since I last had this dish.

There’s something very comforting about this dish. It soothes me and is perfect for chilly or rainy days.

Overall, this Bak Kut Teh may not have had the richest broth, but the generous portion of pork ribs made it a satisfying meal. It was a great choice on a cool evening, bringing both warmth and comfort. I’ll definitely be back for another hearty bowl when the craving strikes!
