Slow Thorns - High Health Tank - What a Play
I was hunting for the cricket ball after it was hit for a six and rolled into a hedge row, it came to rest next to a hedgehog. I went in to get the ball he rolled himself up showing all his spikes, Don't worry I was careful not to touch him as I would have taken two points of damage.
This challenge is all about figuring out a plan of attack or defence based on the prickly theme of thorns
My cunning plan was to put up a tank with a lot of health and then put a couple of tank healers behind my thinking was "They will not take it down" and if the first tank fell the monster behind would have high health and keep getting the life points topped up, always have a plan B
The trouble with that plan is my opponent has a monster with affliction, ahh I thought it was a 50/50 chance of getting hit, yup with my luck it hits the first time.

Did This Work Out For Me
Yes, I won the battle, but my plan was met with a counter and it was very effective, my brood got hit with an affliction that stopped the healing. I need some cleanse next time I use this strategy, also take notice I didn't use any melee monsters and he used two, I also had a couple of heavy hitters at the backline, Hmm my Sea Stalker is bcx 1 - note to self (level up this guy five and he gets cleanse) and my plan would be unbeatable.

Learning
I use this same strategy with other splinters, but the real trick is to have a tank with 15 health because when it gets a heal it is a third of max health, making it 5 health, and with two healers it's possible to almost restore the tank to full health every round, plus remember to go through your deck and think about levelling up your favourite cards. You never know it might unlock that much-needed ability.
