Swane's Golden Pencil Pine

Cupressus sempervirens 'Swane's Golden' is a conifer which was bred by Swane's Nursery in Australia. It's fragrant golden needles and slim growth form make it a useful garden specimen, or planted along driveways it looks spectacular. It grows best in full sun and gets to a height of around 5 to 8 metres. It is best suited to cool and temperate climates. as tropical humidity will cause fungal problems and brown off the centre of the tree. This tree was growing in a local garden.
