Keeping the APR stable at 16% without issue
When I did the report today of CTPSB, I was quite happy to see how relatively easy it was to keep the APR at 16%. The only thing that was needed to reach it, was to take 10 Hive from the built reserves and power it up. Last week, more Hive was necessary. What is also interesting to know is that every week these reserves are refilled with the income from second layer tokens like the produce of LENM staking.
This means that the target to keep APR at 16% is actually easier than expected. We also managed to sell the remaining 160 LEO tokens after the final power down and the reserves are now at 829 Hive, which is the highest level ever. Taking into account that we need a minimum of 200 Hive for the project to be functional, we have a surplus of over 600 Hive that we can use to boost the APR to 16%. If we only need to take 10 hive from it every week to reach it, this means that these reserves will last around 60 weeks or more than a year. That means that if nothing unpredictable happens, the APR of CTPSB will be at 16% for quite a long time. That's a good feeling :-)
