Can anybody identify this fruit?

Guys this is not an alien, it's actually a strange reddish fruit I found in Sarawak Malaysia (Borneo). I couldn't find any info on it, it looks very similar to a tarap(Artocarpus odoratissimus), but it's red on the outside and the spikes are larger.
The taste was like a juicy candy(almost like a tarap/marang) or something. This was among other very interesting fruits I found in the markets in Borneo.
