From my first post I have already played 5 seasons.

Let's see how I handle the team and what will the next steps

Season 2021/22

I was able to sell some players that I would not use, like Cengiz Ünder for 8.5M€ to Marseille and Alessandro Florenzi for 4.5M€ to Milan. I also had a lot of young players lent, making me available to get a total of 20.5M€.

This season I didn't buy any player since Roma did not have a lot of money to spent and taking in consideration the board goals I decided the squad was enough to handle it.

Season Resume

It was a very difficult season.
I don't win any title and in the middle of the season the club's management considered several times whether they should fire me.

I missed all the club's management goals for the season like be in Italy Cup final, be in the European Conference League final and end in the 6th position on Serie A.

I was defeated eliminated from Coppa Italia at Quarter Finals by AC Milan, eliminated from European Conference League at Quarter Finals by Celtic and ended on Serie A at 7th position.

Season 2022/23

Even without an amazing season, I was able to sell a lot of players to other clubs.

I made around 200M€ and this make my management give me 100% of transfers.

Since in the previous season I saw that I needed more midfields, a left defender, one winger and one forward I decided to buy some players and I think I have done some good buys.

I bought Grimaldo from Benfica to left defender, Gilmour from Chelsea, Moukoko (younger forward) from Dortmund, Alberto Moleiro (midfielder) from Las Palmas.

In the middle of season my team was too dependent from Zaniolo and when I needed to rest him, or he gets an injury the team stopped to create attack moves. I received a message say Cristiano Ronaldo was unhappy on Manchester and I decided to take my chance to bought him and I got it for 25M€.

Season Resume

Other very difficult season without win any title or even be able to reach any club's management.
The club's management one more time had doubts about continue with me as coach. However, when they start to press me, the team start to win some games.

This season was worse than the previous one since I was eliminated from Coppa Italia in the 3rd round on penalties against Sassuolo, I was eliminated from European League Conference League in the 2nd phase by Tottenham and again finished Serie A on 7th position.

Season 2023/24

Due to the fact that I was not able to be classified to Europe League, Zaniolo requested to be sold. I didn't want to sell him, but a 107M€ proposal from Bayern Munich came to my desk, and could not reject a proposal for these values.
This make me have around 250M€ to improve my team.

To replace Zaniolo I decided to buy Raphinha from Inter and I decided to buy Sérgio Oliveira since he was only here from a let.

With Cristiano Ronaldo on one wing and Raphinha on the other one, my team started to create much more opportunities to score, but Tammy Abraham was missing a lot of opportunities. So I decided to use all my money to try to hire Erling Haaland and I had success, but I need to offer a huge salary and available bonus.

Season Resume

This was a better season since I was able to finish on 4th place making qualified to Champions League for the next season, and I was able to play the European Conference League final but lost 3-0 against Man Utd.

About Coppa Italia was eliminated at Quarter finals by Inter.

Season 2024/25

This week I decided to sell players that were getting old or were not making part of my plans, like Cancellieri.

In

I decided to buy a right defender (Dodo) because all my right defender were getting old, and I need to buy someone good but not too expensive since I saw 16 years old player being sold for 30M€.

Ronny was bought because Cristiano Ronaldo decided to retirement. So I need a winger to replace him.

Season Resume

This was a brilliant season.

It was the first time playing Champions League and the defined goal was to qualify from the next phase, so I need to end at least in the 2nd position in the group.
I was able to do it, but I was eliminated by Man Utd in the first knock-out phase.

In Coppa Italia I went to the final, but I lost against AC Milan by 0-1.

I won Serie A title!!!

Season 2025/26

I sold Grimaldo to Porto because I was receiving some alerts about financial fair play to be in risk to European competitions.

In

This season I only bought young players (16/17 years old) looking to the future.

However, I was need one more defender midfielder, and I was able to sing Casemiro as free agent.

Season Resume

After the previous amazing season, I really want to win the Serie A title for the second time in a row and do a little better in the Champions League, at least move for the second knock out phase.

In Coppa Italia, I was eliminated in the quarter-final by Lazio at penalties.
However, in Champions League I was able to move on to quarter-final after won FC Porto by 2-4.

In terms of Serie A everything was going incredible since I was at 1st position with more 7 points than the 2nd position.

However, I received an offer to be a Chelsea manager and I ended up accepting it due to the fact that Roma has more difficulties growing up, because even though they won the Serie A title and were already playing in the Champions League (2 years before the management expected) the club has financial difficulties and this is already noticed and will create a lot of problems for me to try to have a competitive team when I see my opponents with investment in the squads.

Currently, the club is in 4th place in the championship, 8 points behind the 1st place (Man City).
I really have to manage to keep at least 4th place to guarantee my presence in the Champions League.

The team is also in the FA Cup Quarter Finals and I want to see if I still managed to win at least this title for this team.
However, my focus will be to improve training as I did at Roma and analyze the squad I have and see if I need to reinforce the team next season.
