Deep maintenance on my 3D printer
Last week I had to do a complete maintenance due to a problem with the printer's on and off button.
As the printer was still under warranty, I activated it and the brand sent me the part to replace it.
In the case of 3D printers, the warranty does not work like with other electronics that we send for warranty and they repair, as we have to be the ones to replace the parts in the first instance.
In this case the part to be replaced was the upper part of the base, since the button is embedded in it and cannot be replaced.
This meant I had to disassemble almost the entire printer with the exception of the Z axis.
Then remove all components from the faulty base and place them on the new base.
It was undoubtedly a new experience for me and in which I had to concentrate without distractions so as not to lose any screws or break any thin cables on the components.
In the end the printer worked without any problems.
