True friend

“He that maketh many friends doeth it to his own destruction: But there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.”

Today’s verse is true wisdom. Although there are slight differences in the translation depending on the version you are reading, the point is the same.

True friends are worth more than thousands of people who claim to be our friend. And there is one friend that we have above all others and that is Jesus Christ. He can take the role of our father, brother, teacher, counselor, doctor, and friends. In reality, the list goes in. The Lord is always there providing exactly what we need.

At the same time, use His example to be a true friend. Not just to the people we like, but to all our bothers and sisters. Every creation of God is perfect and deserves a true friend.
