Today will be my first attempt at the weekly Splinterlands battle challenge.
I'll also give a quick update on my progress so far, along with another daily pack opening.

Weekly Battle Challenge

Theme: Feral Spirit
Edition: Alpha/Beta
Rarity: Common
Element: Life
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Sneak

This was definitely a challenge for me!

As a new player, the Life Splinter is not the most powerful with just the basic cards. It took me a number of losses before I could break through with a win. Any advice for a newbie is greatly appreciated.

The winning lineup was made using Lorna Shine as the summoner. Chaos Knight, Furious Chicken, Feral Spirit, Celestial Harpy, Portal Spinner, and Lone Boatman went up against five members of the Fire Splinter

Feral Spirit is defintely a fast little card. Great for hitting first against the enemy. However, I'm still not certain about making him a permanent part of my deck. I still need to learn to win more consistently with Life Splinter.

I've rent Feral Spirit for a few more days and will try another battle challenge in the next few days before this one ends.

Daily Progress

This would be day 3 of my Splinterlands journey and things are moving along nicely. I was able to complete my daily quest fairly easily and picked up an Alchemy potion for my troubles.

My rating is still at 339 as of this writing. I wasn't able to break past the 400 mark, and I'll need to open at least a couple more packs before I can permanently go past the 1000 power rating without having to rent.

I also played in my first Splinterlands tournament. It was the Fierce Friday Livestream hosted by @clove71. It had a Silver level cap using Chaos Legion cards only. I may have bit off more than I can chew being a novice player... However, I was surprisingly able to win my first match. Afterwards, I was eliminated quite quickly after being completely overpowered by higher level cards!

Pack Opening

Today's pack opening had a few hiccups along the way.

My purchase of credits using crypto did not go through after confirming, so I had to open a support ticket with all the details for resolution. Still waiting to hear back.

I used a different method to pick up another pack and top up on some potions.

Not too bad...
My goal is to open at least one new Choas Legion pack every day!
Over the course of time, I'm certain to open some more Legendary and gold foil cards.
