The Largest Automotive Blockchain Consortium Is Released
Four giant car producers have joined hands to launch the biggest blockchain consortium in the auto industry.
The announcement was released on Tuesday, 1st May 2018. BMW, Ford, General Motors, and Renaults are the ones who commenced the Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative (MOBI). Likewise, the new consortium could not be given without the following giants: Bosch, ZF, Accenture, IBM, Consensys, and Hyperledger.
Before, IBM and ZF have been engaged in the blockchain tech accomplishment within the automotive industry, testing a “crypto car wallet” in the year 2017. Nevertheless, the new consortium can be featured by a broad range of members, in addition to more extravagant projects to be launched.
