[ENG/ESP] My first videoclip / Mi primer videoclip

Hola Hivers! Espero se encuentren bien y a salvo. Para los que no me conocen, mi nombre es Lisa María Blanco y soy artista cubana. Hoy regreso para compartir con ustedes mi primer videoclip. Les cuento que fue una gran oportunidad para mi carrera que aún es bien joven (solo tres años y medio de graduada) y vino de la mano del Ministerio de Cultura de mi país y el equipo de realización audiovisual Alma Films.

Hello Hivers! I hope you are safe and well. For those who do not know me, my name is Lisa María Blanco and I am a Cuban artist. Today I return to share with you my first video clip. I tell you that it was a great opportunity for my career, which is still very young (only three years and a half since I graduated from university) and it came from the hand of the Ministry of Culture of my country and the Alma Films audiovisual production team.

De qué trata?

La música que inspira el audiovisual la escribí en los primeros meses de cuarentena en el 2020. Es una obra para piano que se titula ¨Con Dos¨ y su nombre lo debe a varios motivos. El primero, porque es como una conversación entre la melodía de la mano derecha y el acompañamiento de la mano izquierda en donde reina la complicidad y la armonía entre ambas. El segundo motivo que inspiró el título es la propia concepción de la melodía y el acompañamiento en grupos de dos notas una primero y la otra después.
Y por último el motivo más poético que impusa constantemente mi creación es la complicidad y conexión especial que siento con el piano, una compañero incondicional que siempre está ahí para escucharme y permitirme expresar todo lo que siento a través del arte de los sonidos.

What is it about?

I wrote the music that inspires the audiovisual in the first months of quarantine in 2020. It is a work for piano that is titled ¨Con Dos¨ and it owes its name to several reasons. The first, because it is like a conversation between the melody on the right hand and the accompaniment on the left hand where complicity and harmony between the two reign. The second reason that inspired the title is the very conception of the melody and the accompaniment in groups of two notes, one first and the other after.
And finally, the most poetic reason that constantly drives my creation is the complicity and special connection I feel with the piano, an unconditional companion who is always there to listen to me and allow me to express everything I feel through the art of sounds.

Es una pieza sumamente romántica y expresiva que nos provoca una sensación de paz y equilibrio.

Fue grabado en la Facultad de Matemática de la Universidad de La Habana, en el Vedado Cuba en el verano de 2020.
