[ENG/DEU] Update for the CryptoCompany Voting Service

I have made a change to the CryptoCompany Voting Service that brings some advantages. Here are the details:

Ich habe eine Änderung am CryptoCompany Voting Service vorgenommen, die einige Vorteile mit sich bringt. Hier die Details:

Due to ongoing technical problems I had to discontinue the discount and prioritization based on votes for Hive account@cryptocompany, Hive account@ccceo.voter and Hive account@powerpaul. This was necessary because after intensive troubleshooting and optimization attempts over several days, I was unable to find a satisfactory solution. The effort required to rectify the problem was out of all proportion to the benefit, which is why I decided to make the change.

The previously possible 21% discount and priority can now be realized via HP delegations. This means that up to 70% discount/priority can now be generated instead of the previous 50%.

Aufgrund anhaltender technischer Probleme musste ich den Rabatt und die Prioritätsvergabe aufgrund von Votes für Hive account@cryptocompany, Hive account@ccceo.voter und Hive account@powerpaul einstellen. Dies war notwendig, da ich nach intensiver Fehlersuche und Optimierungsversuchen über mehrere Tage zu keiner zufriedenstellenden Lösung gekommen bin. Der Aufwand zur Behebung stand in keinem sinnvollen Verhältnis zum Nutzen, weshalb ich mich für eine Umstellung entschieden habe.

Die ehemals möglichen 21% Rabatt und Priorität sind nun über HP-Delegationen realisierbar. Dadurch können nun bis zu 70% Rabatt/Priorität generiert werden, statt zuvor 50%.

Why the changeover?

Despite intensive efforts, I was unable to solve the error in the previous vote calculation. Although I could have invested more working days in the problem, this effort would have been disproportionate. Instead, I can now work on other issues that are of greater benefit to CryptoCompany and its participants as a whole.

Warum die Umstellung?

Trotz intensiver Bemühungen konnte ich den Fehler in der bisherigen Vote-Anrechnung nicht lösen. Ich hätte zwar noch weitere Arbeitstage in das Problem investieren können, jedoch wäre dieser Aufwand unverhältnismäßig gewesen. Stattdessen kann ich nun an anderen Baustellen arbeiten, die für CryptoCompany und seine Teilnehmer insgesamt von größerem Nutzen sind.

Further effects of the changeover:

More efficient use of the website API: As fewer API calls are required, the website's susceptibility to errors decreases.

Faster loading times: The performance of the voting service improves due to the reduced API load.

Changed weighting: According to my calculations and assumptions, this will strengthen the economy within CryptoCompany, as well as the value that users of the voting service can receive.

Relatively few users of the voting service have used the discount via votes. If you were one of them, I regret the change. At the same time, strengthening the delegation weighting offers new advantages and stabilizes the voting service and CryptoCompany in the long term.

Effizientere Nutzung der Website-API: Da weniger API-Aufrufe notwendig sind, sinkt die Fehleranfälligkeit der Website.

Schnellere Ladezeiten: Die Performance des Voting-Service verbessert sich durch die reduzierte API-Belastung.

Veränderte Gewichtung: Meinen Berechnungen und Annahmeh zufolge wird dies die Ökonomie innerhalb von CryptoCompany stärken, wie auch den Wert, welche Benutzer des Voting Service empfangen können.

Nur relativ wenige Benutzer des Voting-Service haben den Rabatt über Votes genutzt. Falls du dazugehört hast, bedauere ich die Umstellung. Gleichzeitig bietet die Stärkung der Delegationsgewichtung neue Vorteile und stabilisiert langfristig den Voting-Service sowie CryptoCompany.
