There is Value It Is Just Hiding For Now

It is kind of difficult to place a value on your crypto portfolio when all you have known for the last 4 and a bit years is gradual decline and erosion of the dollars. We know the dollar value is there somewhere and that will only be revealed in a Bull Cycle whenever that might happen. It will happen with the only problem we can guess, presume or predict, but not 100% sure of the when it could happen. This is why you ignore the not so smart people calling the bottom of the market every other day to find out they were wrong as per usual. The bottom happens when it happens and it makes no difference if you get it right because you were not smarter and just got lucky.

I was looking at my COTI stake and the sorry value it now highlights being $3.4K which is along way from what was then a depressing site of $20K not that long ago and I had far less tokens staked. With the extra tokens added and accumulated since then that price would be reflecting closer to $30K and not the $3.4K today. This was only 12 months ago so not that longa time period compared to the 4 year cycle we had been dealing with up to the end of last year that never arrived or should I say completed.

This stake of 264K COTI having a $3.4K value represents 50 months work which may be heart breaking to see right now as that is averaging at $68 per month for all the effort. This effort I have no doubt will pay off and you have to believe in your abilities. This is fun though even if this is a paltry sum and I would do it again and again.

What we are experiencing for me is a continuation of the cycle since November 2021 mainly for the reason is the alt coins have not had their turn yet. For some reason the altcoin Bull Cycle never happened and the money flow that we look out for never materialized.

Bitcoin may have reached anew all time high, but the money did not flow down like it normally did which tells me many are still holding on to their Bitcoin and did not sell buying into Ethereum or any of the large cap altcoins. The crypto market and the cycle is not broken it has just changed and we have to adapt accordingly.

The hardest part is trying to how a stake valued at $3.4K today can blossom into $170K or maybe $300K or who knows what dollar number. This to anyone outside of crypto sounds kind of crazy yet we have all seen this happen with our own eyes. Who can forget watching HIVE from January 2021 at a value of 11c turn into a majestic beats of $3.41 on November 21st the same year. If you told anyone on the outside this story they would not believe you and why we keep quiet. Many think HIVE cannot return back to $1 and I think that is selling yourself short and rather wait and see as no one saw the $3.41 coming.

The reality is we have no idea what our portfolio holds as a possible value and why we have to keep on building and accumulating because one day there will be significant value. This year looks as though it could be the year and why we must push on and keep doing what we do best and that is gathering as much crypto as possible. We are squirrels on a mission aiming to gather as much as we possibly can whether it happens this year or next year we are giving ourselves the best possible chance of turning this into something of value. I have to admit this is hard to see currently and I am one of the most positive people you will ever meet and in the back of my mind nothing has changed and we are still on the same course aiming for the same results.
