The former UFC star has vowed to oppose EU immigration policy in Ireland if elected
Conor McGregor, ex-UFC champ, is running for Irish president in 2025, vowing to fight the EU Migration Pact via referendum if elected. He announced this on X, slamming the government after meeting Trump at the White House. Irish PM Micheal Martin hit back, saying McGregor’s views don’t reflect Ireland’s. McGregor’s been a right-wing voice since 2023, sparked by a stabbing in Dublin, though riots followed and the government blamed him. Controversial as ever, he’s appealing a 2024 civil rape verdict, insisting it was consensual.
