Boracay Island

Hello, Hivers Family! Before I begin, those who read my introductory post know that this is my favourite place.

let's get started.

Who wouldn't fall in love with this stunning view? Gosh! If things were always like this, I'd choose to live here.

I went here in 2022 with a co-worker and the family of my boss. I still want to write about our staycation—or vacation—here, even though it has been a while.

My boss granddaughter slept next to me while we were on our way. She laughed as she saw our picture. Of course, she made up for it when we returned home the next day. And ofcourse I had my facemask ready so that my face was not visible when she taking pictures while I'm sleeping HAHAHAHA.

We will travel from Roxas to Caticlan for approximately 3 to 4 hours. My boss hired a van for our trip there. We contribute 1,500 peso ($26.26). 1,000 ($ 17.51) for the hotel and 500 ($8.76) for the vehicle.

We made a stop in kalibo to eat breakfast at jollibee, which is located directly in front of Vibrant Kalibo. Because we left so early, Even though we had bread, stuffing and sandwich. it was different to eat rice.

When we arrived at Caticlan, one of our companions got a ticket inside. But we had to move quickly to get out of there because there were a lot of people waiting in line.

When we arrived in Boracay, we went straight to the hotel that had been booked for us. I'm a lil sad because one of my close friends in the office, Ate sheen, was unable to accompany us due to stomach pain.

After putting our stuff in the room, we immediately went to the beach because we were excited to see it haha.

I'm overjoyed to see Boracay's beach once more. Despite my excitement, I still feel shy because there are a lot of people in the sea. And because the COVID protocol was still affect at that time, I was still wearing a mask. Also, I have pimples on my face I embarrassed to remove it.
And, because the sun was still shining, we walked along the beach until we were exhausted, then returned to our room to rest before swimming at the beach in the afternoon.

We went to the beach at 3 p.m haha because we were so excited. Well, I also enjoy swimming here. I wish I could afford the trendy crystal kayak at the beach back then, so that I have a picture too. Huhu but I couldn't, so I just enjoyed swimming nalang, Even though I was tanned, I didn't want to leave because the water was so clear and I loved it.

When we got out of the water, we walked around the shops selling keychains and T-shirts. We purchased an ankle bracelet and wore it.

There are many different keychains, and you will really like this as a gift. I bought a wallet and a necklace to give to my sister and niece; which was all I could afford before.

One of my favourite things about this place is the sunset, which is so beautiful to watch. Many people come here to watch the sunset and sit on the sand while eating Snack like a picnic.

I enjoy watching the sunset here; there are boats down there, and the waves in the water are beautiful to watch. Then the air is cold, and I realize how free you can be in this place.

When you don't think about anything, you'll just see beautiful views of the surroundings.

This staycation wouldn't be complete with out a trip to the bar, so we went.
Boracay has many bars, from station 1 to station 3. So maybe there are more now. I drink moderately here, only a bottle of San Miguel, haha, because I don't drink alcohol; I'm just there to enjoy the vacation.

We had planned to go Island hoping the next morning as the rain got worse, we decided to take the land tour instead.

The first place we went to was the Mangrove Park boardwalk, for me it was beautiful here, they really take care of the plants because the leaves are very green and it was clean too.
You can feel the freshness of the air.

Next, we visited Bulabog Beach Resort.
The famous coconut tree in Boracay had many people lined up to take pictures, so I didn't get any more; we were in a hurry because we were leaving in the afternoon haha.
So I just sat in the swimming pool of 7 stone and took pictures.
7 stone is one of the luxury resorts in Boracay.

We then visited the Keyhole in Boracay."

The keyhole is one of the Boracay's most beautiful spots, and it is popular with tourist due to the cave's unique curve.

On the day we visited, there were a lot of tourists, so I didn't get a photo of the keyhole alone. To avoid someone photo bombing the back, I simply hat to crop it, hehe.

Who wouldn't want to go swimming here, what do you think? Gosh!, what a gorgeous beach! Right? we will swim, of course. I was thrilled to see such a lovely view when I came upon it on my way to the keyhole.

I was prepared to swim; others should have swim and were already in the water. Our tour guide then informed us that we still had one more stop to make: Puka Beach. It was better to take a bath there, because some of our companions wanted to go as well. We just went.

Our final stop is Puka Beach. Once we got there, we were asked to take a group photo, after which we had to pay. We didn't get it, hehe, because we couldn't afford the price.

In fact, we love swimming here! I really enjoy the water and the view! This is the only picture I uploaded here because it was the only saved to my Messenger.
(I've been saving my photos to my Messenger for a long time.)

We brought food and ordered lunch so we wouldn't hungry wherever we went, so we ate here. Upon our return to the room, we prepared to leave to go home.

That's the reason why I adore this place so much; I admire its beauty. Additionally, the locals are friendly. 
I really want to return here with my family. I want them to see how stunning Boracay is, Even if we only have a short visit.
