Crypto.com began charging fees on top-ups
Happy Monday everyone
I received a very unpleasant email from Crypto.com
On 4th of July (which is today) they are adding a 1% fee for each time costumers top-up their Visa card. It is quite annoying especially for Ruby tier users (myself included) who only receive 1% cashback rewards on purchases with said card. It makes the whole cashback concept useless. If you are a user with Ruby card like me and are using Spotify subscription to get 100% cashback than it might still be worth your while (I don't use it so not for me).
SEPA transfer are luckily still free, but it is still a huge drawback due to the extra steps you have to take to make a deposit and the long wait time for the funds to arrive (up to 3 business days). I will still continue to use the card for the time being but I am looking for alternatives with either better cashback of zero fees (preferably both). Overall I am bullish on CRO and will keep hodling, just need to weather this storm of a bear market and off to the moon we go.
