What e're you say, he's old—not dead—
Do not conflate the two!
His heart—bejeweled with wild eyes,
Scans stormy oceans, blust'ry skies.
He will not let his crusade fail
By minding the mundane.
Fast, the purpose; firm, the will;
His quest is not in vain.
His mind, a Kingdom battleground;
Build God's, while treading evil down.
His spirit longs to dominate
Vast, interstellar gaps.
The Maker of the Universe,
His stay and strong support—
What senseless ignoramuses
Would dare his mission thwart?
Conqu'ror? Nay!
Much more is he;
On track,
Becoming truly free.
