Happy Epiphany Season 👑 & Welcome to Creative Work Hour!✨

Epiphany Season marks a time of recognition, reflection, and manifestation. What we love about this time is that there is no need to feel you've missed the kick-off ball of new year's resolutions.

The traditional 12 days of Christmas, also called the Christmas Season, concluded 5 January, which is all about arrival, the new, and keeping close to those that matter most to you. But come 6 January, the low house lights slowly begin to lift a bit, bringing recognition, insight and a vision of what's to come...how perfect for getting your year up and running!

The New Year's resolution convention may be something you are either love or loathe, but here at in the Creative Work Hour community we do our best to start the year with gentle kindness and self-compassion. And, really, doesn't that feel a little better?

If you are new to us, you may not know that we run a live events everyday, actually, 3 events a day! At the beginning we check in with each other, then go to work, then check out with each other at the end of each session, just report in on how it went, with no expectations.

Today during the check out of CWH, @bobbie0122 mentioned a distinction that some religions observe the lunar calendar. Related to the Season of Epiphany, I found in my research notes that the Orthodox faiths begin their Epiphany Season on 19 January at least this year, due to the lunar calendar.

One of our community values oof CWH is that we stay curious about different beliefs, and because we meet every day that's on the calendar, we have lots of opportunities to learn different observances. So whether you do or don't practice a faith, you will see how our group demonstrates both acceptance and a genuine interest in how different cultures and beliefs get lived out day by day.
