A New Spin on a Young Apple Tree [Bonsai]
This is my little Apple tree bonsai.
I grew it from seed, and it's over a year old now, going into its second growth season.
Recently I wired the tree into a circle to represent infinity. The main purpose for this was to shorten the tree without slowing down the growth rate of the tree. I think it is more interesting to develop strong bends in the strong when a tree is young, than to let it continue straight up. Apple trees are rarely a perfect upright tree in orchards.
Hope you like it.
