A friend of mine was not feeling well yesterday and came to our side after she left the school clinic. She arrived close to tears and I think that was because she was very weak and also because she was given some injections. I marveled at her strength because it can never be me, I know myself. I would definitely have gotten home in premium tears. I don’t think I have ever taken an injection without crying when I’m not feeling well😂😭

If I was asked to pick one out of Injections and Pills…My people, I would choose none. I don’t even prefer one to another, not to any degree. If possible, let me just lie down and sleep till I get better🥹🤲 I fear injections so much, especially when I am indisposed. If anything touches my body when I am not feeling fine, I will just start crying because I’m usually a softie and a fluffy teddy bear when I am ill.

I remember one time I was not feeling fine and a nurse had to come home to treat me. I can still recollect the shock on my dad’s face when I started crying when the nurse injected me😂. He teased me about it non-stop😂😭😭😭. Maybe there’s a memory attached to it that I can’t recollect or probably it’s just a phobia, I just cringe and shiver when I’m to take injections, it traumatizes me every single time.

Don’t let me even get started on drugs. I hate them so much, and in all forms (except for the tasteless ones like folic acid and calcium and the sweet ones like vitamin C tablets). Other than those exceptions, honestly, I am very much uninterested in any other kinds of pills. Malaria drugs are the worst! They smell like bedbugs and the after taste is so awful😭.

That’s why I don’t like to fall sick at all, and I love that I barely do. I wish I could avoid it forever though. I have heard some people say they prefer injections because it is quick and works faster. I have also heard some people say they prefer taking medicines because its easier for them.

Either way, I give them accolades because their act of bravery is out of this world.🙌🙌🙌
