HOME SWEET HOME š
It is the most beautiful time of the year. This season has to be one of my top 3 favorite times of the year. I love the atmosphere, decorations, flowers, trees, lights and most especially, the cheerful celebration mood. I am also loving the climate change, itās cold and I am really making good use of the weather to practice how it feels like to be abroadš . donāt mind me, itās not as cold as I paint it to be. By the way, letās talk about the congestion on the streets!!! Wait, I thought everyone was broke around here. So it appears that these claims are pure lies from God knows whereš
Well, I decided to travel home from school to spend the holiday with my family. That happened about two days ago, and the journey ⦠well, I guess it was quite okay, just that I had to enter the bus through the trunk because we were about 100 waiting at the bus stop to get a bus that will take us home. That was the most awkward thing that I would do in a whileš, but let me confess, I totally enjoyed the experience. It was thrilling and I was just laughing after the whole thing. You know, I couldnāt miss my chance of getting a bus after waiting for about an hour at the bus stop. It was clearly the survival of the fittest.
Itās so sad I couldnāt take many and more elaborating pictures because I suddenly realized how hard it might be for me, considering the fact that I am a shy person. Would I just tell 100 people to āsay cheeseā while I click the shutter button - haha! . Okay, I was joking, but then, it felt weird to take pictures, so I went through a lot to take these.
After all the struggle to enter the bus, I suddenly felt like a lagos babeš(but well, Iām not). Lagos is one crazy city in Nigeria that things like this is a norm there. It is a kind of city that everyone is sharp and canāt afford to be dull at any moment.
Well, had a swift and safe, but boring journey because I didnāt have any means to listen to music. Eventually, I got home to meet my brother , who arrived minutes before I did, and also my mom. I was so happy and excited to see them again, home sweet home!. Thank God I wasnāt empty handed, I got them my most preferred cookie at the moment to express my lovešš.
Later that night, my brother surprisingly gave me a gift, guess what it wasš. No, Youāre wrong!. He gave me this really really super cute tote bag, and it has this really nice and amazing design. I think it would be my favorite for a long while.
You canāt see this, but then, thanks once again big bro!!
Well, there was really nothing much yesterday, I took some pictures in the morning, because I was really feeling cute and didnāt want to keep it to myselfš. I later went out with my brother to get some things weāll be needing today.
And then, today, I did chores throughout the day, and this was majorly cooking. I made soup, jollof rice, and fried rice. Had great result, so it was worth all the stress. My family enjoyed the food and I definitely did as well. I guess itās been indeed, a Merry Christmasš.
Please join meš„°
By the way, I hope itās not too late to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in advance! May the beautiful season bring you joy, happiness and all the good things that you desire.
