Aftermath: War on Terror 2000 vs 2023

This set of tweets is incredible, sobering and increasingly potent in 2023, as we look back on recent US history -- 9/11 and the War on Terror, espoused by mainstream media and the policymakers of Washington in that era.

• Greedy oil companies
• Hollywood, as it orchestrated a campaign of 'airplane terror-based' entertainment for US audiences in the 90's building up to 9/11
• Powerful govt entities
• Other think tanks, contractors and companies

Armed with their 'rule of law' and 'heroic-call' lanes and policies, wordplay and fabrications, a powerful heavily-armed western nation faced off against a powerless, impoverished opponent: the fathers, mothers and children of a poor middle eastern people.

Let's take a moment and recognize the immense suffering and needless loss of life -- both American and of the Iraqi and middle east peoples.

If the ICC-CPI will ever take such western kings to court, I'm sure we will see a thorough examination of the breezy proofs used to justify the war crime acts. The countless TV broadcasts of CBS, NBC, ABC and other outlets of the mainstream will be like 'wish you were here' stickers on a briefcase to hell for these men and women.

And the others who are having enough trouble as it is, we'll you need only read the papers daily to hear about them who are in all our devices listening to us daily.

-- Their involvement with the American public has been intimate, one could say that these organizations have been the twin heart of George Bush, pursuing the desires and interests of the few and not the whole.
