Things will be different soon. Already, as one born with girl parts, life borders on terrifying. I carry pepper spray everywhere, now. My false sense of safety, my choice.
No, I don't want to talk about it.
Nobody does, it seems. We are quiet, waiting, possibly even ignoring. Resting up for whatever it is we will need to resist in the years to come.
Staying present, for the present is really all we have.
