...I've never liked the story about George Washington and the cherry tree.
I mean, why the hell would you chop down a cherry tree?!
It makes cherries!!!
And then, as a child, to be taught in school that a person can grow up to be president simply because he decided not to lie about how he committed a senseless act of destruction of a living being?
Just how much wood does a woodchuck have to chuck to get a sensible fable?
