Hot crows look like they're filled with wonder!
It was a particularly hot day in Portland. My buddy Bo came down from a shady perch to visit with me. After a few seconds in the direct sun, he started making this face. He couldn't take the heat, so he took off. When he returned a few minutes later he was soaking wet.
I just love crow hotface!!! It makes them look like they are in awe of the world. This video really captures it well, and the flirtatious calls of a pair of Flickers in the background add a nice touch.
