What could I possibly say about these tiny creatures that they don't already say for themselves?

What string of adjectives would ever do justice to their pinfeathered innocence, their hellacious hunger, their absolute perfect embodiment of the meaning of the word gape?

No pleonastic paragraphs needed for these little bastards. The only thing you couldn't know, the only thing you should know (outside of what you already and intrinsically understood about the adorability of barn swallow babyhood from the moment you glimpsed these images) is the intensity of the sound of four hungry babies screaming for food in an old, echoey building in an otherwise tranquil environment. Seriously, you could set this nest up as an alarm system and nobody would ever steal your car.
