This Madrasah was completed by Akkoyuns in the 15th century. Its name comes from Kasim, the son of Cihangir, the shah of Akkoyuns. This madrasah is one of biggest historical buildings in Mardin. Its type is an open madrasah with two storeys and single eyvan, arranged around a single courtyard.
