With increasing global health concern surrounding COVID-19, are government-proposed solutions like “social distancing” and lockdown of entire populations really the best solutions, as many governments are telling us?

Before watching David Icke‘s interview on the subject of coronavirus, like many others, I thought that social distancing and lockdown were the best options available to us for slowing and stopping the spread of coronavirus. I now understand this is not the case and in fact these are among the most harmful solutions the entire society could be employing. There is a much better solution: Isolate and protect those who are at risk instead of grinding the entire world economy to a halt.

Not everyone is as susceptible and as unable to combat coronavirus as everyone else. In fact, the vast majority of the population only gets mild symptoms. Only those with already weak immune systems, and the elderly, are at higher risk. Therefore, instead of a lockdown of the entire population, which has vast economic consequences, we should instead be focusing on protecting just those at higher risk, and allowing the rest of the world to carry on. This will prevent a worldwide economic shut down which will have much more wide-reaching and devastating consequences.
