Aggravating Travel Setbacks

The worst time to have a dental issue is while you are traveling. I am in Alabama right now. I woke up last night to a crown floating around in my mouth.

I had a dental implant last year. I have never had one before and didn’t know much about them. But I know it didn’t seem to fit right. I complained to my dentist. Twice. I was told it was not an issue. Apparently it was.

If you look at the photo, you will see why this crown came off. There is a hole in it. It makes the situation more aggravating because I am traveling this week.

I guess I can look at the bright side. It could have happened next week while I am in Morocco. That would have been much worse.

Hopefully my dentist can fit me in when I get home tomorrow afternoon.

Anyone had this issue before? Any dentists out there want to weigh in? Have at it.
