Here We Go With Ethereum 2.0

An Ethereum (ETH) 2.0 developer is making the prediction that the protocol’s deposit contract will be announced in a few days.

Meanwhile, he also predicts that the ETH 2.0 beacon chain genesis will happen within the next six to eight weeks.

To complete Phase 0’s launch, 500,000 Ether needs to be locked for staking after the beacon chain goes live, followed by a week-long genesis delay.

Is PayPal Doing It Right?

PayPal will be introducing a new feature for buying and selling Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash (BHC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC). It will be available on both the app and website.

While some believe this is a decisive moment for Bitcoin adoption, others are pointing out the missing pieces such as private keys and the ability to transfer crypto into other accounts on or off PayPal.

The move from PayPal has gotten feedback from Blockstream CEO Adam Back, Kraken’s Dan Held, Casa CTO Jameson Lopp, and SatoshiLabs.

PayPal Goes Shopping

After announcing their new cryptocurrency features, PayPal is keeping the ball rolling by shopping for potential crypto companies.

In a report from Bloomberg, crypto services firm BitGo was named as a potential acquisition.

According to the report, the two companies are in the midst of talking with no final decision being made yet.

Andre Cronje Wants To Be Your Keep3r

Andre Cronje, the founder of yearn.finance (YFI), has just quietly launched a new crypto project dubbed as the Keep3r Network.

His new project, which was unveiled on code hosting platform GitHub, is a marketplace for projects looking for users who can perform specific jobs.

Keep3r Network will give projects the option to provide a set of criteria to get the best fit for the job. Meanwhile, freelancers will receive payment in the form of its native asset KPR.
