Bafuss #4 | Fleuve St. Lawrence
Ship crossing the fleuve. by @cnandofer
The Saint Lawrence river is the third biggest river of Canada, It drains the water from the great lakes to the Atlantic ocean. It crosses the provinces of Québec, Ontario and the state of New York.
In the past the river was used by the U.S. to bring navy ships in and out of the great lakes which cause a little bit of a disagreement between the two north american countries, which ended up with a treaty where they agreed that there wouldn't be armed ships in the great lakes.
The river is a very important asset for the economy of Québec because of the transit of goods and cruises. It is the home of different species of whales that can be spotted specially in the region of Tadusac.
