Construction spending on self-storage in the U.S. has quadrupled in the past two years. People are determined to fill their lives up with paper, plastic, and metal junk that was built to be disposable and worthless. The U.S. has 50x more self-storage than Europe. Welcome to the American way; domestically hoard up a bunch of useless crap we wasted money on and at the international level destroy and bomb a lot of important stuff other people spent their good money on.
