What does the future for VR look like now?

“Technology is always overestimated in short term, but underestimated in long term.” VR is exactly the example. In 2016, VR industry is highly hyped. There are all kinds of VR conferences and saloons, to talk about the future of VR. And for a while, VR became so popular that every VC is ready for a project with VR.

While in 2017, the bubbles of VR burst. Many companies gave up their VR strategies, but still some survived. It's normal. Man lives and die, and VR industry has its prosperity and depression. As for now, many medias declare the winter of VR, as they did to praise VR.

So just stay cool about VR. VR will have a bright future. The basic problems and obstacles have been solved and VR devices have been modified for many generations. I think, in a long term, VR will realize its value in the up&down development. maybe in 2 years, 5 years, or 8 years...
