Great use of the prompt, I think, and a well constructed story, in terms of plot and character. You show us immediately the character's desire (to get the job), and introduce conflict through an obstacle to her desire (a short amount of time) and what Gotham Writers' Workshop calls the Major Dramatic Question (will she get there on time). I really like how you revealed an deeper aspect to her character when she stopped, even though she was late, to pick up the woman (her kindness). Good job all in all.
