Oppression (original poetry) - Nihilistic Rainbow #6 Entry

Weaving of threats with subtle illusion;
Bartering fear with soul's prostitution.

Clinging to the latch, can't open the cage;
The lack of control is feeding this rage.

Lock up the rest and pretend to be free,
ignoring the strings that bind skillfully.

A puppet of fear can spread only doubt,
while faith maintains it will always work out.

Faith based on doubt has no means to survive,
that's living to die, not feeling alive.

Mastery of self is the one true path;
Everything else is just the aftermath.
