Sunset at the Bay ⛵ (eng-esp)

This weekend I had the opportunity to watch the last minutes of the sunset with my friends on the Paseo La Alameda, which borders a good part of the bay of Santiago de Cuba.

In addition to the colors of the sky, one element that I tried to capture was some remains of wood embedded in the water. As a journalist friend explained to me, these were part of the pier that the Spaniards built during their occupation, around the sixteenth century, and now they are part of our historical heritage. How wonderful!

Este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de observar los últimos minutos de la puesta del sol junto a mis amigos en el Paseo La Alameda, el cual limita buena parte de la bahía de Santiago de Cuba.

Además de los colores del cielo, un elemento que intenté capturar fueron unos restos de madera incrustados en el agua. Según me explicaba un amigo periodista, estos eran parte del muelle que construyeron los españoles en su ocupación, alrededor del siglo XVI, y ahora forman parte de nuestro patrimonio histórico. ¡Qué maravilla!
