Sushi for my lunch! 🍱

In the last few months the passion for sushi has been born and grown in me, thanks to the invitation of some friends to try a dinner with them in a Japanese restaurant. I am not a lover of raw fish and spices and for this reason I have always been very skeptical but, as often happens, after eating sushi, I have completely changed my mind.

Today in Italy, or at least from my area, sushi has become very popular and more and more people fill the restaurants every day, especially on weekends or holidays. So often my wife and I order takeaways and make sure we eat sushi comfortably seated at home or perhaps by the sea.

I particularly appreciate the combination of spices that honestly are rare in Mediterranean cuisine and it is incredible to discover the multitude of flavors unknown to me! After some practice, I started using chopsticks, I'm not very agile but I can very well move between the various dishes.

Also I admit that sushi gives me a lot of joy, maybe it will be the colors or the attention to detail in the preparation, but I am always very happy when a dinner at a Japanese restaurant is looming! Do you know what's new? Today I order sushi! Here are some photos of my lunch!

Negli ultimi mesi è nata e cresciuta in me la passione per il sushi, complice l'invito di alcuni amici a provare con loro una cena in un ristorante giapponese. Io non sono un amante del pesce crudo e delle spezie e per questo motivo sono sempre stato molto scettico ma, come spesso succede, dopo aver mangiato sushi, ho completamente cambiato idea.

Oggi in Italia, o quantomeno dalle mie zone, il sushi è diventato molto popolare e sempre più gente quotidianamente riempie i ristoranti, soprattutto nel weekend o nei giorni festivi. Così spesso io e mia moglie ordiniamo takeaway e ci assicuriamo di mangiare sushi comodamente seduti a casa o magari in riva al mare.

Apprezzo particolarmente l'accostamento di spezie che onestamente nella cucina mediterranea sono rare ed è incredibile scoprire la moltitudine di sapori sconosciuti a me! Dopo un pò di pratica, ho iniziato ad usare le bacchette, non sono molto agile ma riesco egregiamente a muovermi tra le varie pietanze.

Inoltre ammetto che il sushi mi trasmette molta allegria, forse saranno i colori o la cura dei dettagli nella preparato, ma sono sempre molto contento quando si profila una cena al ristorante giapponese! Sapete cosa c'è di nuovo? Oggi ordino sushi! Ecco qua qualche foto del mio pranzo!
