In the last 48 hours, the HIVE blockchain has been under spam attack by a user already identified by @aggroed, effectively clogging transactions on both layer 1 and layer 2. I noticed the first signs when I tried to convert HBD->HIVE through the HIVE Keychain application but it remained in progress for a few hours.

Conversions are usually very fast and initially I thought it was a slowdown due to the application but then I read that almost all users had problems making transfers even of small amounts of tokens. After some work by the devas, the situation is returning to normal.

At the moment my transaction was successful but the conversion on the Keychain app is still blocked at the moment, the chain is quickly recovering everything that was suspended and the devs are implementing additional security systems to improve the defense of the blockchain against these vile attacks. Of course, regular user activity has not been impacted, many may not have noticed this issue, unless you decided to make some transactions on the chain.

Nelle ultime 48 ore la blockchain di HIVE è stato sotto attacco spam da parte di un utente già individuato da @aggroed, intasando di fatto le transazioni sia su layer 1 che su layer 2. Le prime avvisaglie le ho notate quando ho tentato di convertire HBD->HIVE attraverso l'applicazione di HIVE Keychain ma la stessa è rimasta in lavorazione per alcune ore.

Solitamente le conversioni sono molto veloci e inizialmente ho pensato ad un rallentamento dovuto all'applicazione ma poi ho letto che un po' tutti gli utenti avevano problemi ad effettuare trasferimenti anche di piccole quantità di tokens. Dopo un po' di lavoro da parte dei deva, la situazione sta tornando normale.

Al momento la mia transazione è andata a buon fine ma la conversione su l'app Keychain al momento sono ancora bloccate, la catena sta recuperando in fretta tutto ciò che è rimasto sospeso e i devs stanno implementando ulteriori sistemi di sicurezza per migliorare la difesa della blockchain contro questi attacchi vili. Ovviamente l'attività regolare degli utenti non è stata impattata, molti potrebbero non essersi accorti di questo problema, almeno ché tu non abbia deciso di effettuare qualche transazione sulla catena.
