Hallo dear garden lovers!

It's an exciting morning in the Via Dietro Gli Orti! Here are some cabbage-y and carrot root/ stem/ tops cuttings, one of which is ready to plant out in the earth...

I ADORE using kitchen scraps like this; free food from food - keeping a literally infinite supply from the initial purchase... I heard back when I was studying permaculture someone mentioned a woman who had grown 9 YEARS of carrots from the same tops!!

It's always so wonderful to have these cut-and-come-again leaves, as an additional gift from what'd usually be composted!

I also was gifted some fiat cash this week, for buying seeds!! And just made a luscious order from Magic Garden Seeds in Germany..... An extremely precious handful of select heirloom seeds which I CANNOT WAIT to grow...
