Il Convento painting

Hallo incredible human being,

This is one of my favourite paintings created in 2018 in Guardia Sanframondi, Italy - one of the few in my life that have only taken a few months to complete :-)
The film talks about the origins of the image, and how the painting developed. For me, it is a celebration of the relationship between people and the land, the making sacred of the land, by building sacred structures, and working to cultivate plants and make wine... the beautiful alchemy of these inter-relationships,
