With some unexpected Cape Town summer rain, and a bit of a chill after all this heat, who could ask for more right? Knitting, my favorite cat (don't tell the others), soft blankies, and Netflix!

She was found abandoned under a car! Poor Baby :(

Sorry, I've been so slow to update but things have been a bit hectic with my mom here and, of course, with the arrival of our new furbaby, Cally!

Anyway! between yesterday and today I finished the 1st row of red and made the switch back to red.

The tricky part is, like sewing, it seems to be perfect on the one side but the join is visible on the other side. It's sort of like a seam.

I think, and so far it's worked, I have to accurately count stitches to make sure I get all the joins on the same side of the scarf.

But isn't it looking GREAT! I love how vibrant the red is against the black. Thanks for the absolutely awesome challenge @matthew-williams !
