"In My Nightmares" is a song I created to let out some pent up teenage rage. It's not often that I get to share something so raw and open with the audience. It's just phenomenal how putting one's feelings down on paper and having the absolute privilege of being able to share them in my music with @jasperdick

It was written as I was writing a series of songs, 3 all together that all just poured out at the same time. They all came to me during a nap, so maybe I should be encouraged to take more naps!

They are all vastly different, each song drawing inspiration from Taylor Swift, To Skunk Anansi and Alanis Morrissette to 80s Glam Rock.

In my nightmares may be relatable to a lot of women, young and old, who had their choices taken away from them. I want you to know you are not alone. This song was damn scary to sing and share in front of a live audience as you never know how people are going to respond to explicit lyrics.

But this song is mine, it's about me and grabbing my power back. It's about healing and acknowledging that anger is a huge part of that process.

I'm so grateful I got the chance to share it live.
