MCGI Zoom meeting (3/11/23)

It's another day of wonderful lessons from the scriptures by Bro Daniel. Please, stay with me as we go through a review of the zoom meeting we had on 3/11/2023. May the Lord keep strengthening us to learn and abide by his rules

Righteousness. There's the righteousness of God, and that of man. Some people don't understand that. Righteousness of God is different from the righteousness of man. Some are righteous in their own eyes. Proverbs 12:15

^{The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice}

What we should have is the righteousness of God. It shouldn't be our own righteousness. As we are different facially, so are we in character. The righteousness of God is different from that of man. The Righteousness of man is like a filthy rag before God. Anyone who is not doing the righteousness of God is not of God. He thread on the path of darkness. Act 26:18

^{To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me}

If you want to be removed from darkness to light, you need to follow the righteousness of God. You need to start doing things according to the scriptures, and walk according to God's righteousness. John 8:44

^{You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. Satan was a lair from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies}

If you are on the side of the devil, you are not in the truth. If you are a liar, the devil is your father, because he has nothing to do with the truth. The work of the devil is for you not to do the will of God. Luke 11:15

^{According to the scripture, those along the path are the ones who hears, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved}

The devil goes around to take away the word of God from people's heart. He's always finding a way to remove the word of God from man's heart so he can become his. He never wants the word of God to be rooted in our heart. Psalm 1:2-3

^{But his delight is in the law of the LORD; And in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper}

When we keep the truth in our heart, it would bear fruit, and what people would see is righteousness. We need to resist the devil. If we search our heart and discover that what we are doing is not righteous, we should let go of it, and embrace that which is righteous. We need to ask ourselves questions whether what we are doing is of God or not. John 6:63

^{The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit[a] and life}

The word of God is spirit, and we should work according to the spirit, and also ask God for mercy to understand his scriptures

What is unconditional love?

According to the way we humans define unconditional love, it's a kind of love that is forgivable in every situation. Unconditional love has no limitations. Bro Eli explained that the love of God cannot be classified as unconditional love. The love of God has limitations. If you abuse them, he won't be happy with you. Isaiah 13:11

^{I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless}

If the love of God is unconditional, he won't punish those that are against his words. If you abuse God and do rebellion against him, he won't take it likely with you. He said he will punish the wicked for their sins. Thus says the Lord. In everything we do, we should seek first the kingdom of God, and you will see the blessing of God

Keep doing good

MCGI on this day donated wheelchairs and walkers to people with disabilities, and encouraged us to always do good. Whenever you feel like doing good, just do it because not all men desire to do good
