An unexpected resurrection: My charger, my hero

I’ve had charger issues for the past few years since I misplaced my original charger where I lodged. I’ve bought new ones over and over, and all were fake. Even when I thought I had gotten a follow-come charger, it betrayed me like Judas. It just refused to serve as expected.

While checking through my abandoned museum of broken gadgets, I spotted one old, ugly-looking charger head grinning at me. At first, I didn’t recognize it, but something about that creepy smile caught my attention. The two teeth (connectors) were shining and glowing like they had just been baptized with electricity. Instantly, I picked it up and

Lo and behold, it was my long abandoned super original charger head from an old and long gone Itel phone.

The improvisation jogged my memory as I spotted the two teeth made with screws. What could I do? I smiled back at it, straight from the depths of my heart. "It’s been a while, Mr. Charger Head," I said, engaging it in an emotional reunion.

"You’ve been chilling here for 3 good years on an uninformed leave while I’ve been out there suffering? You wicked thing! But it’s fine. I forgive you. I just know you’re still as loyal as ever—I worked on you before your mysterious disappearance. Now that you’ve resurfaced, let’s get down to work".

I felt the spark of destiny as I spoke to it. Without any further ado, I slotted it into the socket, inserted the cord, and connected my phone. And just like that, I watched the battery percentage rise faster than the gossip of two jolly friends in a group chat.

Yes! Yes!! That’s it!!!

I flung the new charger head I bought a week ago to the corner like a used tissue. That’s it. I’m officially back to my glorious charging days.

Many of us are suffering from one thing or the other, but the solution is probably chilling around us. It’s even inside of us sometimes—but we just haven’t noticed it because, well, we’re busy stressing.

With faith and a sprinkle of humor, I pray that whatever good thing is hiding inside you that you desperately need shall be revealed in the name of the God you believe in.
