Weird & Interesting Proverbs From INDIA Part 2

I had so much fun creating the first list . These old proverbs in malayalam kinda of make sense . But when translated to english it gives it a totally different meaning .

Thought i ll add some more interesting and weird proverbs from Kerala ( India ) to be more specific . In our native language its also called as "Pazhamchollukal " . Some provide little nuggets of wisdom , Some are just things people say in context to an event or a situation .
Here are a few more interesting and funny ones .

1. " If you eat slowly , you can even eat a palm tree " .

1. " There is no cure for for jealousy & baldness "

2. " If you sit where you are supposed to . You wont need to get up "

3. " 1000 chickens = Half a Quail "

   I dont think this is accurate 😂 . But what they were trying to imply is that the Quail is more nutritious that the chicken . Especially the eggs .

4. " All the seeds grow differently .Even if they are from the same tree "

5. " You should wash your hands quickly after having food before it gets dried up . Otherwise your marriage will be late "

   I dont know the logic behind it .But People still use it nowadays also here . 😂

6. " Even you put a dogs tail into a tube for 1000 years It will still be curved "

   People used to use this proverb in context to a person who never changes his ways/behavior even after telling him a thousand times .
