My Power up - December 1st 2023

Lately, I've been busy wrapping up tasks for Zealy and diving into the frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping. It's been a hectic time, but thankfully, as I glanced at the calendar, it's also Power Up Day on the first of the month.

In the past few weeks, perhaps due to the festive season, the cryptocurrency market has been experiencing waves of surges. Just checked, and $BTC is still battling around the $38,000 mark. Some GameFi projects, especially on the Hive Chain, are gaining renewed attention. Splinterlands, our main GameFi on Hive Chain, seems promising. However, the outlook isn't too optimistic if we can't attract more people to join Hive Chain. Nevertheless, our $Hive has seen a little increase, so I quickly gathered 100 $Hive to Power Up. It might not be a massive amount compared to the whales, but for me, it's the best I can do.

During this period, Hive nodes seem to be having frequent issues. Not sure if there's an update or not, but the stability of nodes is the foundation of the Hive ecosystem. Nodes going offline often, if not addressed by the responsible parties, could benefit from redirecting power to nodes that are actively maintaining stability. If a project isn't contributing much to the Hive ecosystem, it might be worth redirecting attention to those projects that are making a positive impact.
