A Simple but Sweet Birthday Date

Hello daily blog hivers friends , this is what happened to his special day. After my online class at 4 p.m., I was so excited because we planned to go on a date to celebrate my man’s 21st birthday. Our first stop was Red Ribbon, where we bought a Chocolate Bliss Cake with a cute Happy Birthday topper. I wanted to make his day extra special, so I made sure to choose his favorite flavor—chocolate!

After getting the cake, we planned to eat at Cafe Alto, but it was very crowded. So we decided to try a new place called Service Box Cafe. The place was really nice and cozy. There were many families bonding together, and I saw children happily playing pickleball outside. The sunset looked so beautiful while we were walking to the cafe—it felt so perfect for a birthday date.

When we got inside, we ordered French fries, bacon pizza (11 inches), and mango and strawberry shakes. My plan was to pay for everything since it was his special day, but he insisted on paying the bill. I couldn’t stop smiling because, honestly, naka-save ko hehe! But still, I appreciated how sweet and thoughtful he was.

While eating, we kept talking and laughing. Even if he had an online class, his attention was still all on me. That really made my heart happy. He always made me feel loved and special, even in small ways.

After finishing our meal, we decided to go for a walk and went to City Hall. We talked a lot about random things—our plans, funny stories, and memories. It was already 9 p.m. when we went home. Later, he sent me a photo of the gifts that I gave him.

It was a simple celebration, but it was full of love and happiness. The way he hugged me tightly, kissed me gently, and kept saying thank you made my heart melt. I realized that birthdays don’t need to be fancy or expensive. What matters most is being with the person you love and making memories together.

His 21st birthday was one of the best days ever. I’m so glad I got to celebrate it with him. His happiness became my happiness too. I’ll never forget the way he looked at me that night—with love, joy, and gratitude. Truly, it was a day to remember. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. Every day with him feels lighter, happier, and more meaningful. He always knows how to make me smile, even when I’m tired or stressed from school. Having him by my side gives me peace and comfort that I’ve never felt before. He’s not just my my man, my best friend, my safe place, and my biggest supporter.

Being part of his life teaches me how to love more patiently and appreciate small things. I’m thankful for every laugh, every hug, and every moment we share. His presence reminds me that real love doesn’t need to be perfect—it just needs to be true and kind.

I will always be grateful to God for giving me someone like him. I’m excited for more memories, adventures, and birthdays we’ll celebrate together.
