My Actifit Report Card: March 3 2024
Hello Actifitters!
Remember my report yesterday? I mentioned that I accompanied my mother to buy a gown. I found out the gown will be used to dress an image to be used in the procession for Holy Week and not by any human I knew. It was just an ordinary dress when we bought it, but my mother-in-law decided to bring it to the seamstress to alter the dress. And this is how the dress turned out after alteration. They added some details to the chest part and to the sleeves. The seamstress also added a lot; one is in the shade of purple, and the other is white. Now the gown looks immaculate.
We tried to fit it in the mannequin when we picked it up in the seamstress house so we could see the overall look of it. The mannequin we used is headless, so we cannot see how the dress will look with the veil. Then I saw an old helmet in the corner. It looks old and dirty, but we can still use it to visualize the gown with a head. My mother-in-law was satisfied with the results of the alteration, and she had nothing more to add to the details, so we headed home with a huge bag of baggy gowns and other pieces of clothing.
All photos are my own, unless stated otherwise.
