Battle Gear!

Hey there! It's Mike at @churchoftheway! Today I'm showing off my armour! This is what I use when I'm participating in a SABER LEGIONactivity like sparring or tournaments. It's important to have all the gear. I got all I have to have but want a couple more things.

As you can see I have a bunch of stuff. I'll break it down in the order I put it on. First is the cup. OMG! SERIOUSLY! Yeah life is way better. Also I have padded shorts. Actually one thing I want are better padded shorts and waist protection, it sucks getting hit there.

Next up is legs. I love the catchers leg protection. It is multijointed for the knee and the clips sinch down well and keep them on my legs while I'm all over the place.

After that is the gorget. This is very important, neck stabs happen, though unintentionally as it is a invalid target. I love this one from Purple heart armory. It's comfy and east to take on and off.

I put on my shoulder pads next. It's nice to have a good one of these. Even better with waist protection. I like the extra shoulder pads here.

Then I put on my elbows and forearms. I like to tuck them into each other. You get hit pretty much everywhere, especially not padded.

I put the gloves on last but here mine are with the forearms. They can be shin guards, like these are. It's just good to get as much protection as possible, while allowing for movement of course. The next piece is the helmet. I got a couple of helmets from a fencing school sale. They are great. I also got the back up the head protection. Yeah that hit will end your night.

I'll finish up with the gloves and tada! I'm ready to crush!
